I bought the Deebot DM88 in 2017.
For the last months the cleaning time is around only 20 minuits. (Rated cleaning time is 90 minutes)
The battery capacity got less, so I decided to buy a replacement battery:
The Battery cell is a BH-SC3000P from BYD: Ni-MH; SubC; 1.2V; 3000mAh; Ø23x44mm
Chris Cable shows in his video where the battery is sitting, so you can exchange it. He is not showing it on the DM88, but another Deebot model:
I have found the pack on Amazon. Deebot M88 Battery pack But the shop has only 10 ratings the last in 2020. I think it is not legit.
I found battery pack to on that scam website: www.batteryupgrade.pl
On trustpilot you can see that this shop operates unfair and against rules.
An another shop where it is sjown as sold out: needparts.eu
Due to that i will look for the battery cell (BH-SC3000P or from another producer from Aliexpress) itself.
On Amazon these kind of cells are much more expensive then ordering them from Aliexpress.
If the cells have no terminal lugs I will have to use a spot welder connecting the cells myself, like shown in that video.
If the cells have terminal lugs I will solder them together.
So for now I will wait till the cells arrive (05.08.2022)
I ordered 12 cells (only 10 needed) in case there is a bad one i have two spare cells. I do not want to pay high shipping costs (around 20USD) again just for one more cell.
30.07.2022
Cells arrived.
I used a soldered the cells with the existing connection fanes.
But i did not like that way so much.

For the next project i will try a spot welder for Battery cells.
The robot has now enough capacity again and works fine :D .
How does the Deebot DM88 look from inside?

I have also opened the Deebot M88 to clean it from inside. Here are the pictures:
